Legal Agreements

Proforma Legal Agreements

These documents have been prepared on the basis of expert legal advice and have been designed to protect the interests of inventors and innovators in the marketplace. It must be stressed that there is no such thing as a standard commercialisation agreement, but these documents will help you get started in negotiations and give you a good idea about what issues need to be addressed in commercial legal agreements.

These documents are provided on both hard and soft copy for repeated use. You can purchase these documents either separately or as a kit.

Proforma agreements available for sale include:

Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement

A confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement should be used whenever disclosing a new product or idea to a third party. It is highly recommended to all innovators.

Agency Agreement

The agency agreement allows someone to work on your behalf (to act as an agent) in licensing your intellectual property to another party (e.g. a manufacturer or a marketing organisation).

License Agreement

Once an agent has found a suitable party to commercialise your new product or idea, it is typical to formalise the negotiations using a licensing agreement.

For more information or to purchase, please contact us.

Please note that these agreements should only be used as a guide to help get you started in negotiations and establish the basic terms of your relationship with a manufacturer, licensee etc. However, they are not a substitute for proper legal advice and if negotiations are advancing, you should seek professional legal advice immediately.
